Carlie
Graduate Student Intern
With a Bachelor’s in Community Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master’s in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary, Carlie has always been drawn to the beauty and complexity of the human story. As a therapist, she creates a space where individuals, couples, and groups can explore their journeys with honesty, curiosity, and a touch of lightness along the way.
Carlie is trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She’s especially passionate about story work, cross-cultural experiences, and helping people reconnect with their truest selves. Whether she’s walking alongside someone processing trauma, navigating relationships, or simply feeling stuck, Carlie believes healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and just a little bit brave.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find Carlie working out, experimenting in the kitchen, or sharing a laugh over a good meal. She believes joy, creativity, and connection are essential parts of the healing process—and she loves weaving those elements into her work whenever it fits.
